OracleHeptaNauticalMaphradite: The Tumblr Revolucion!*

so i have been posting on tumblr way more than here recently, but i try to connect as much as possible. it is the current leading force among young people worldwide on the web. i thought i would share some of the best blogs on there. what's interesting is that it's not like flickr, where all your images are YOURS. it's about sharing, stealing, reblogging, and creating an entire aesthetic for yourself from images that are completely mysterious and unoriginal to you...then other people are like, "yeah, that's my aesthetic too!" and it goes on and on and on...the editing skills and visual maturation of these young kids around the world is incredible..check it for yourself.

psychonautical: <3 the landscapes....

vermaphrodite: the best editing eye i have seen yet. shapes, patterns, textures...new themes daily.

heptagram: embracing the darkness...

and, last but not least, my own, beastly oracle: magickal trip outs....

Bulgaria in Lomo.*

this girl has a good blog. she takes pictures only with lomo cameras and she just went to bulgaria to shoot. i have been dying to visit eastern europe for ages for exactly this reason. is embodies my love for the beauty of decay and decrepitude more than any other place in the world due to all it's been through. check her out at analogphotoblog.com.*

I Dream of Pinky.*

ian told me about this dream he had the other night with a mysterious, pale, goth girl with light pink, faded hair....it made me remember my 10 years of pink hair and how i so miss pastel shades framing my face. (odd fact: my nickname in high school was "Pinky" and i was uber-goth.) i wonder who she was, and what she symbolized. i automatically wondered if maybe he met my former self in the spirit world, but he said she was a new character altogether. dream interpretation says a woman with long hair means happiness, and a woman with red hair means persecution (great for me), but nothing about a woman with pale, pink hair. either way, she is now a part of my subconscious desire as well and is one more thing to reunite me with my former identity that i always reminisce so fondly upon.*
