this is her art. i am lucky enough to have a little piece in my house.

and these are some of her photos from her bike rides around all these islands, cities, and unexplored territories that i am dying to visit someday soon. you can check out her photos at chirubird.*

beautiful losers: dash snow.*
people tend to be very opinionated when it comes to dash snow. some glorify, other criticize. ian knew him in ny and was really sad when he passed this summer....just like kurt in so many ways (collages, heroin overdose, leaving behind a wife and daughter, blonde and gorgeous...). but i can relate, so i can't judge. beautiful man, beautiful lust for life.*

Retna & The Mac & Diaries in Los Angeles.*
ian took this picture of me while i was being a contemplative goth writing in my diary as he shot pictures of retna painting a wall. retna and the mac leave amazing beauty marks all over the city, crosshatched portraits and cryptic codes to be deciphered. i love stumbling across them on my drives from here to there and back again.*

Intro/ Sewn Cat Cult Pillows
hello. so i am starting this blog to showcase/network/sell the things i make, the things my boyfriend makes, our projects, vintage clothes for sale, fashion photos we shoot, and cool shit that i find to be inspirational and think should be shared. i'll start with these cat pillows i made: cat cult screenprints and sewn vintage patchworked borders, sometimes with hand-sewn felt babies in kangaroo pouches on the back. enjoy!*
here are some of my friends with incredible artistic abilities that you should check out. mike alvarez is holding the big cat with the samurai baby and kime buzzelli is photographed holding the baby pillow in front of the diamond-eyed cat poster.
