90s Lust Strikes Again.*

i keep thinking about how much i miss being a teenager and watching "my so-called life," relating to angela chase and having these posters from seventeen mag up in my purple room as i dyed my hair red for the first time circa 1994. thank you, claire danes, for embodying our glorious teenage angst of the 90s. poor millennium kids got no role models as worthy as ours were, but maybe that's just my generational bias talking. whatever.*

The Craft.*

while re-eading my occult and esoteric books from my youth, i find that they still resonate with me now more than ever and i am finally at a point to committ deeply to the practice. my new pendant is providing strength and protection already, made of bloodstone and rainbow moonstone. and please tell me you all remember the most influential movie of my 13th year....you bet your ass i had this movie poster up in my bedroom and watched it like 5 times a week. here are some top new age/ magick stores in los angeles. check them out and you too could have an awesome setup like these. btw, fairuza balk herself owns panpipes, and it is the oldest magick and occult store in los angeles (since 1961). oh, and don't forget to note the awesome 90's sketchers these witchy bitches rocked.*

Dirty South: Sentiments.*

they keep coming and coming. i suppose that's what happens when you take 13 rolls of film in 9 days. i'm grateful for each frame. i have recently been told by close friends and family, all on separate occasions, that i should become a life coach. wtf?*

these girls were so cute. they sold me the coolest pair of 70's vintage lace-up ankle boots in forest green and black leather. we talked about blogs, traveling, and savannah. i wish i could remember her blog....*

Fashion Shoot: Chloe

ian did this fashion shoot and i got to style her (in one of my two favorite styles that i am partial to: 90's grunge or artsy librarian). my dear friend kali (YOUNGBUFF) did the makeup and i think chloe, our model, came out quite stunning. the second photo is just another one of my favs. we like to walk around downtown and talk pictures. it seems awesome bear is all the rage right now. pictures of pictures. his shit is everywhere. and no one hates on it because it's so damned cute!*
